Wright at Home Therapy and Community Support Services LLC’s principal member, Andrea Wright, is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) in multiple jurisdictions. She has extensive experience in counseling, crisis intervention, and community support. Shortly after graduating from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, Andrea pursued her licensing and began realizing her vision of creating a safe, supportive space where individuals could access vital resources and emotional guidance. With her training as a therapist, she establishes meaningful connections with her clients, delivering services that are compassionate, comprehensive, and impactful.
In addition to her social work expertise, Andrea has been a real estate investor and manager for more than 20 years. Her professional journey led her to work for the City of New York, serving low-income, disenfranchised, and migrant populations. She provided guidance to tenants facing eviction, victims of reverse mortgage fraud, and families in shelters seeking permanent affordable housing. This role gave her a broad perspective on housing challenges in New York and highlighted gaps in existing services, inspiring her to create Wright at Home to address these unmet needs.
She also has earned an MBA from Empire State University, part of the State University of New York system, as well as a BS in International Trade. Andrea has also dedicated time to volunteer work demonstrating her commitment to strengthening communities beyond her professional work.
